Poppy Day has become a familiar tradition in almost every American community. This distribution of the bright red memorial flower to the public is one of the oldest and most widely recognized programs of the American Legion Auxiliary.

ALA members distribute millions of poppies annually across the country in exchange for donations that go directly to assist disabled and hospitalized veterans in our communities.  Last year, our great post raised nearly $13,000 for our veterans.

Current events keep us from spending the day in our community handing out poppies - We will miss shaking our can and shaking your hand! But our veterans need us, so POPPY DAY IS ON!!   We hope you will join us this year VIRTUALLY!  There are 2 ways you can donate:

Since 1919, the American Legion Auxiliary has been serving, helping, and meeting the needs of our nation’s veterans, military, and their families—both here and abroad.

Auxiliary meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 7pm

(September - June)
